As the founder and training instructor of Bitty Ballet, Laura has a passion for dance and for developing a true love of dance at a young age. She has over 18 years of traditional dance instruction in tap, jazz and ballet at One Broadway the Dance Centre (Hershey, PA) and Penn State University (State College, PA), which has created an extensive understanding of the basics of dance movement & methods, as well as group fitness instruction at various centers in central Pennsylvania.

With two kids at home, working with young children is a great fit and she truly enjoys watching them grow and love dance.

Melissa Totani

Melissa Totani

Melissa is our West Chester, PA lead instructor. She brings over 15 years of dance experience to our program. She studied tap, jazz and ballet at One Broadway The Dance Center (Hershey, Pa). She continued to dance through college and has never lost her love for dance.

Melissa has two young sons and has lived in the Exton and Downingtown area for over 12 years. She is excited to introduce the program to young artists in the area and pass along the love of dance!

Sarah Misko

Sarah Misko

Instructor (Pittsburgh)

A forever-student of ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, pointe and acrobatics, Sarah has been dancing since the age of three and performing on the musical theatre stage since six. Sarah studied at Shenandoah Conservatory with a focus in musical theatre performance and a minor in dance, specializing in jazz and tap. Upon graduation, Sarah spent two years with the National Tour of Fiddler on the Roof and has performed in nearly all 50 states with this and several other regional theatre and dance companies.

Always having a strong connection with little ones, Sarah has served as a trusted nanny to the elite of NYC and the Greater Pittsburgh area. A self-proclaimed “yogi,” Sarah hopes to bring light and joy to your children through the power of active movement, and plans to use her theatrical experience to enhance the overall journey of your precious ones as they learn to grow, interact and express themselves through dance.

Breanna Boeh

Breanna has 18 years of dance experience, starting at the age of two with Scottish dance and continuing on with various other forms such as pointe, ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and hip-hop. She competed across the country representing the Celtic Spirit Highland Dancers of Pittsburgh while simultaneously studying other types of dance at the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Academy (Pittsburgh, PA). She finished her high school dance career with Maria’s School of Dance (New Brighton, PA) and the Pittsburgh Heat Hip Hop Team. She has continued her love of dance in college as part of the audition-based Performance Company of Volé, The Penn State Ballet Club. She teaches and choreographs for the club as well.

Breanna is currently a junior pursuing her undergraduate degree in Visual Arts and Advertising from Penn State University. She is extremely thankful to be given the opportunity to work with kids and introduce them to dance, something that has heavily impacted her life in an incredibly positive way.

Lindsay Fisher

Lindsay Fisher has been dancing for 17 years, with background in styles including pointe, ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary and hip-hop. She is originally from Montgomeryville Pennsylvania, and is currently a sophomore at Elizabethtown College studying Middle School English Language Arts Education.

Lindsay is a part of the college dance team at E-town as well as a choreographer for the dance club “Emotion”. Lindsay is excited to share her passion for dance and teaching.

Nicole Monville

Nicole Monville has over 21 years of dance experience training in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary, musical theater, hip hop, improvisation, and contemporary partnering. She has 11 years of teaching and choreography experience along with a BA in Dance and a minor in English Film/Media Studies from Slippery Rock University. At Slippery Rock, Nicole was a student director of SRUDT, a member of Dance Express Dance Team, and an active performer and choreographer. During her college career she performed at The American College Dance Festival Association in 2012 and 2013. Her senior year she choreographed and directed a full-length show at Slippery Rock University, and was awarded the Excellence in Dance Technology award.

Nicole has been a member of Exhalations Dance Theatre in Pittsburgh since 2015 as a resident choreographer and dancer. She attended the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet teacher’s seminar in Milwaukee Wisconsin in 2015. Nicole is very passionate and dedicated to being a life long learner to help educate the next generation of dancers. She is also the founder/director of The Catalyst Collection Dance Company; a contemporary dance company in Lancaster, whose purpose is to initiate change, evoke thought, and create opportunities through art in the community.

Faith Weaver

Faith Weaver has been dancing since she was five - training in various styles from ballet & tap, to ballroom & musical theater. Her inspiration in dance was to always follow in her sister’s footsteps as she taught her everything she knew. Growing up, Faith strengthened most of her skills while volunteering at Harrisburg Christian Performing Arts Center as well as working with ministries such as Reverence Dance Studios and EncounteredHeart Ministries.

She plans to someday pursue her goal of becoming a dance therapist. Dance has always been an escape as well as a release for Faith and she has dreamed of being able to teach the next generation.

Taya Kobrynich

Taya is a student of dance and elementary education at West Chester University. She started dancing at three in her hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania and has been in love with it ever since. Taya has studied classical ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern, contemporary, musical theatre, acrobatics, and some ballroom. Bitty Ballet is the perfect place for her to combine passions for both dancing and working with children. Aside from dance, Taya enjoys doing yoga, reading, acting, singing, and writing.

Sara Lechner

Sara Lechner has been dancing for over 14 years. She has background styles in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, and pointe. She is originally from Nazareth, Pennsylvania, and taught at her hometown studio of Miss Tanya’s Expression of Dance. She is currently a first year student at Elizabethtown College studying Early Childhood Education, and is a dancer on the Elizabethtown College Dance Team.

Sara’s love for both dance and teaching makes Bitty Ballet the perfect place to continue her passions. She is super excited to work with the children, while watching them grow and develop their own passion for dance.

Carly Haffner

Carly Haffner started dancing when she was four years old at Accent School of Dance in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She quickly developed a love of dance, and has been dancing ever since! She has experience in tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, and Irish Tap.

Carly was an assistant & teacher at Accent School of Dance for three years. She also has experience in musical theatre dancing in both Annie Jr. and Guys and Dolls Jr. and was dance captain for Guys and Dolls Jr. Carly is currently an occupational therapy major at Elizabethtown College. She dances in E-motion- the dance club on campus. She is super excited to lace up her ballet shoes and instill a love of dance in her students.

Courtney McFetridge

Courtney is one of our lead instructors in State College, PA. She offers 18 years of dance experience in various styles including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, hip hop, and street funk. To increase her opportunities to perform, Courtney auditioned for her home studio’s competition team at the age of 9, and continued to compete until she graduated high school. Currently, she is a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major focusing on Molecular and Cell Biology and plans on pursing a career in neonatal surgery.

Courtney continues to express her passion for dance as the choreographer for the prestigious Volé, The Penn State Ballet Club’s Performance Company. This company performs at university events such as THON, the Homecoming Court Reception Dinner, and various campus-wide competitions against other dance organizations.

Randi Rochefort

Randi brings over 17 years of dance experience to our program and aides in Camp Hill. She studied ballet, pointe, jazz and flag twirling at Excel Dance Studio in Michigan. Randi also has many years of experience with young children, she was a preschool teacher in Camp Hill and does nannying.
She has lived in Harrisburg for the past five years and loves everything that Pennsylvania has to offer. Randi has a passion with children and loves to dance. She is very excited to put both passions together and help show the joy and love that dance brings.
